Kevin Jiggetts
Award winning and critically acclaimed actor / writer Kevin Jiggetts is a sixteen year veteran of the industry. Although local now, he is still represented by one of New York's top literary and legit agencies. His resume' reflects numerous theatre productions, both local and abroad, to include, Joe Turner's Come and Gone / Kennedy Center, Wedding Dance / The Kennedy Center, Fences / Everyman Theatre, Leaving The Summer Land / Theatre J, Anna Lucasta / Rep Stage, and Tripping Through The Car House / Woolly Mammoth Theatre to name a few. In addition, his guest starring role's on t.v. include Law and Order SVU, Homicide (directed by Kathy Bates), The Wire, Miracle's Boys (directed by Spike Lee), America's Most Wanted and The Cosby Show, and starring roles in such films as The Box Preacher, U Need A Ride, Who's Crazy Here (executive produced and directed), The Date, Naked Man, etc. He has two screenplay's currently under strong consideration with several major Hollywood studios. He is a member, in good standing, of SAG (Screen Actor's Guild), AEA (Actor's Equity Association), and AFTRA (American Federation of Television Radio Artists).

Queen Aishah
Comedienne, actress, radio personality and philanthropist. Aishah’s  professional career as a standup comedienne began at the former renowned restaurant and lounge, Mr. Henry’s in Washington, DC; an establishment also graced by the appearances of celebrity comedians, Martin Lawrence and Dave Chappelle.   This 3X Apollo TKO winner is best known for her on-air innovative characters, Ms. Chlyam-edium (the Uno Card Reader) and PHAT Peaches.  Both of these characters had a significant place on the Big Phat Morning Show on 92Q-WERQ in
Baltimore, Maryland and XM’s, The City with Sexy Chocolate, radio programs.  Further on-air appearances included the syndicated Russ Parr Morning Show with Olivia Fox, Washington, DC and The Olivia Fox Morning Show on 95.7 The BEAT, Tampa, Florida.  In addition Queen’s wit, love of life and laughter earned her a requested impromptu appearance on the top-rated, award-winning Oprah Winfrey Show in 2004. Other comedians Queen Aishah has worked with includes Michael Colyar, Bruce Bruce and Ricky Smiley.  Queen has also shared the stage with phenomenal artists such as Yolanda Adams, Heather Headley, and Chuck Brown while hosting Radio One’s 16th annual Stone Soul Picnic event in Washington, DC.  She has toured with Rhythm & Blues artists, Jaheim, K-CI and Jo Jo, to name a few.  Her most recent endeavor includes YYP’s tour with a purpose entitled, “The Vagina Monologue(s).”  This tour offered the opportunity to work with extraordinary trailblazers such as Star Jones, Sherri Shepard, Phyllis Yvonne Stickley, Vanessa L. Williams and a host of other remarkable personalities.

Ken Arnold
Ken is an award winning actor with principal credits in film, commercials, voice over, television, industrials and theatre. His theatre credits include “Killer Joe” for Cherry Red Productions, “Beyond Therapy” for The Bay Theatre Company, “The Mai” with Solas Nua and the critically acclaimed “Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune” with Quotidian Theatre. His most recent principal roles for film and television were in HBO’s “The Wire,” in the CBS series “HACK,” in the ABC movie of the week “The Pennsylvania Miner’s Story,” and several appearances on “All My Children.” Ken has also co-starred in award winning indie films such as “Mary, Mary”, “Tomorrow is Today”, “Maestro Percival” and “The Date.” Ken is also an award winning editor, director, writer and director of photography as he works frequently behind the camera in a myriad of capacities.

Clifford Pulliam
Cliff,
a lawyer, founded the Micheaux Foundation in 1993, named in honor of film pioneer, Oscar Micheaux, is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 tax exempt arts foundation. It consists of professionals who share the common goal of supporting and promoting emerging independent screenwriters / directors and their films through production grants, workshops, and an annual film festival. Clifford has been a “guerilla filmmaker” for over 20 years. He is a writer/producer and music composer with a degree in Music Composition from Howard University’s School of Fine Arts. He has written four feature film scripts, one of which, “13 Straight” was optioned by David Lester and Don Miller in 1993. Another, “The Chinaman” was a semifinalist in both the American Accolades and Acclaim Screenwriting Contests. As writer/director/producer/composer, he completed two short films, “I.S.O.” and “Thru My Eyes” which he also shot. I.S.O. screened on DCTV Public Access Television and Continental Cablevision , Los Angeles and Atlanta University Film Festival. In addition, Cliff served as Executive Producer on the Kevin Jiggetts film "Who's Crazy Here."

Karen Carbone
Multi-talented Karen Carbone is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with degrees in Theatre and Italian. She is a ten-year member of AFTRA and SAG whose career spans film, TV, industrials, stage, print, voice work and… stunts! Recent favorite roles include a mother with a possessed child on “A Haunting” and her ongoing voicing of several cartoon characters for the Discovery Channel (where else could you be the voice of a bottle of white-out with attitude?!) She has been a casting coordinator on many local projects and several feature films including Runaway Bride, Rules of Engagement and XXX State of the Union. Karen also owns her own entertainment company, Carbone Entertainment, which relies heavily on hiring many local actors and talents.

Deidra Starnes
A native Washingtonian, is also a four-time Helen Hayes Award nominee. She has performed with Folger Shakespeare Theatre, Rep Stage, The African Continuum Theatre Company, Scena Theatre, Studio Theatre, Olney Theatre, Woolly Mammoth, Cumberland Theatre, Portland Center Stage, New Federal Theatre, and the Connecticut Repertory Theatre. Her acting credits include Anna Lucasta, Personal History, Spunk, Blues for an Alabama Sky, The Old Settler, The Gingham Dog, The Taming of the Shrew, King Lear, The Violet Hour, I Have before Me a Remarkable Document…, A Raisin in the Sun, and Ladder 49. Deidra is presently the Elementary School Program Coordinator at the Folger Shakespeare Library. Additionally, she has taught theatre and/or directed productions at Hearst Elementary School, the Bethesda Academy of Performing Arts, Renbrook Summer Adventure Camp, Duke Ellington School of the Arts, the University of Connecticut, and Howard University. She is a faculty member at Theatre Lab where she teaches movement, voice and scene study classes for teens and adults. She is also one of the Directors of The Theatre Lab's Summer Acting Camp for Kids. She received her BA in theatre from the University of Maryland and her MFA in Drama from The University of Connecticut.


Doug Brown 
This six time Helen Hayes Award nominated actor has more than 30 years of acting experience to draw upon. He began his acting career at the DC Black Repertory Theatre(The Rep) in the late 70's. Much of what I have accomplished in my professional theatrical life I owe to the The Rep. He is currently a company member of the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company and has appeared in numerous productions with the troupe. He has participated in many of the outreach programs initiated by Woolly that include: teaching acting and improvisation to children at the Community of Hope in DC, performing in plays written by young people as part of the Young Folks Playwriting Workshop, etc. Doug has performed at many of the theaters in the DC metropolitan area and at various regional theaters across the country. He most recently appeared in the Fords' Theatre's production of August Wilson's Jitney.
